Home Screen
The Home Screen serves as the central hub for managing your energy devices. Here, you’ll find a list of all your Emporia (and third-party integrated) devices, such as EV Chargers, energy monitors, and smart plugs.
Device List Order: Devices are displayed in the order they were set up. While this order isn’t currently adjustable, we’re hoping to provide this functionality at a later date.
Device Interaction:
Device Icon: Located to the left of each device name, this tappable icon provides quick access to the control page for controllable devices (specific to their type).
Device Name: Displayed next to the icon and fully customizable. Learn how to rename your devices here.
Real-Time Usage: To the right of each device, the app shows real-time power usage in kilowatts (kW) based on the selected measurement resolution (e.g., “Live” for second-by-second updates).
Example Home Screen Layout:
Demo Vue2 - Vue: Gen 2 Energy Monitor
Zigbee 495 - Vue: Utility Connect Energy Monitor
Smart Plug - Smart Plug

Selecting Devices: Tap the menu icon (three bars in the upper-left corner), then select “Graphed Circuit” to choose a specific device or sensor.
Pro Tip: Use graphs to identify peak usage periods, such as when your EV Charger or other high-power devices are active. Learn more about using graphs effectively here.
