Accessing the EV Charger Control Page
There are two ways to access the control page for your EV Charger in the Emporia Energy app:
Direct Access via Charger Icon:
Tap the charger icon located to the left of the charger name in the app. For example, if your charger is named "Example Name," tap the icon next to it.
Access via App Menu:
Tap the menu icon (three bars in the upper left corner).
Select "EV Chargers" under Device Controls.
Choose your EV Charger from the list.
Control Page Overview
Once you've accessed the control page, you'll see various options to manage your newly installed EV Charger. Here’s a screenshot for reference:
Enabling and Disabling Charging
To manage charging, use the "Charger Toggle" button or the circular button with the lightning bolt icon:
PAUSED Mode (Gray): No power will be sent from the EV Charger.
READY Mode (Blue): The charger will start charging as soon as you plug in your vehicle, provided the vehicle is ready to accept the charge.
Locking the Charger
To prevent unauthorized use, leave the toggle in PAUSED mode. This will ensure no power is sent from the EV Charger.
