The Demo Mode in the Emporia Energy app provides a brief walkthrough and preview of what the app might look like when a few of our energy management devices are set up. This feature is designed to help you explore the app’s capabilities before adding your own devices.
How to Get to Demo Mode
If you’re already logged into your account, you’ll need to log out first:
Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top-left corner of the app.
Navigate to Account and select Log Out.
Once on the main login screen, simply tap the View Demo button. This will take you directly into Demo Mode, where you can explore the app with sample data.
What’s Included in Demo Mode?
In Demo Mode, you’ll see a sample setup with the following devices:
Home Battery System: Demonstrating energy storage and usage insights.
EV Charger: Showcasing electric vehicle charging capabilities.
Vue 2 Energy Monitor: Displaying 8 circuits.
Smart Plug: Highlighting individual appliance monitoring.
Vue Utility Connect: Simulating utility meter integration.
Please note that all data in Demo Mode is staged and not representative of real-world usage. This feature is a preview, not a fully interactive app experience.

Exiting Demo Mode
To exit Demo Mode and access your personal account:
Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top-left corner of the app.
Navigate to Account and select Log Out.
Log in with your personal account credentials to view your devices and data.
