Deleting your Emporia account is a straightforward process, but it’s important to understand that this action is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted:
Your account, along with all saved device data, measurement history, and settings, will be permanently erased.
We cannot recover your account or any of its data after deletion.
Steps to Delete Your Account:
Open the Emporia Energy app and tap the Menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
Navigate to Account.
Tap Delete Account and confirm the action when prompted.
Important Considerations:
Deleting an Account Will Not Resolve Device-related Issues:
Deleting your account does not fix device or measurement collection issues. Please contact support or troubleshoot instead.Export Your Data:
Before deleting, we recommend exporting your device data to a CSV file for historical or posterity purposes.Share Devices to Another Account (Optional):
If you want to retain access to your devices via another account, use the Device Sharing feature to transfer them before deleting your account.
Proceed Only If You’re Certain
Only delete your account if you’re confident you will no longer need access to the Emporia cloud or its data.
