If your Emporia device has disconnected from your WiFi network or you need to switch it to a new WiFi network, follow these simple steps to reset the connection through the Emporia Energy App.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare for Reset
Ensure you are near the device you want to reset.
Have your WiFi network name and password ready.
Open the Emporia Energy App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.
Navigate to the Reset Option
Tap the Menu (☰) icon in the top-left corner.
Select Manage Devices from the menu.
Choose the device you need to reset.
Scroll to the bottom of the device details page and tap Reset WiFi / Solar Setup.
Note: This process will not affect your data or existing device settings.
Follow the Reset Process
Select the device you wish to reset when prompted.
On the Safety Information page, tap Next.
On the Solar / Generation page, select Skip this, I'm just resetting this device.
Reconnect to WiFi
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to the device via Bluetooth.
Enter your updated WiFi network credentials when requested.
