If your Emporia device has disconnected from your WiFi network or you need to switch it to a new WiFi network, follow these simple steps to reset the connection through the Emporia Energy App.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare for Reset
Ensure you are near the device you want to reset.
Have your WiFi network name and password ready.
Open the Emporia Energy App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.
Navigate to the Reset Option
Tap the Menu (☰) within the app
Select Manage Devices from the menu.
Choose the device you need to reset.
Scroll to the bottom of the device details page and tap Reset WiFi or Reset Network.
Note: This process will not affect your data or existing device settings.
Reconnect to WiFi
Select the preferred network and Continue.
Enter your updated WiFi network credentials when requested and Continue.
Tap on Done.
