This guide walks property managers through setting up and managing Invite2Charge — from onboarding your EV Chargers through day-to-day user and reporting tasks in the Partner Portal.
EV Charger Onboarding
Install and onboard each charger through the Emporia app as normal. During setup, keep the following in mind:
When naming your charger in the app, enter the 5-digit code associated with that device — this is what drivers use to identify and access it
Use the same email address for your Emporia account that you plan to use for the Partner Portal
QR codes should be positioned on or near each charger for easy driver access
Once your chargers are installed, contact our customer support team to get your Partner Portal account set up.
Partner Portal Setup
After you contact the Emporia team, we'll send you an email to create your Partner Portal account. From there, you can:
Create your login credentials
Access all of your installed chargers
Complete your initial portal configuration
Create Access Instructions
Set up a personalized message that drivers see when requesting access to your charger. Use this to share your contact information, operating hours, and any property-specific rules or guidelines.
Example: "Welcome to [Property Name] — please text or call [phone number] to gain access to this EV Charger. Thank you."

Handling Access Requests

You'll receive a notification of the request
Review the driver's information in your portal
Approve or deny with one click
The driver receives an automatic confirmation email
Removing User Access
Individual removal — Find the user in your charger details and click Remove next to their name.
Bulk removal — Use the Remove Users function and upload a list of email addresses. Access changes take effect immediately.
Reports and Data Export
The Partner Portal offers two report types:
Daily Energy by Charger — Shows usage for each charging station, useful for tracking overall activity
Daily Energy by User — Shows individual energy consumption, ideal for billing or cost allocation
To export a report:
Select the chargers you want to include
Choose your report type (by charger or by user)
Set your date range
Export the data
Use the portal's filtering system to search by charger status, charger code, user email, or date range to quickly find what you need.
Monitoring Your Chargers
The Partner Portal dashboard shows real-time status for all of your chargers — available, in use, or offline. Each charger's location is displayed on an integrated map, and you can review live usage and user activity at any time.
