The Smart Plug will share some settings with other devices. Information about managing those shared features can be found here.
How to get to Settings and Info:
1.) From within the app, you can tap the app menu icon (three bars, upper left corner) and go to Manage Devices, where you can select your Smart Plug by name.
2.) If "Control from Home page" (covered below) is not enabled, then tapping the icon next to the Smart Plug name from the Home screen will take you to the Smart Plug Control page. Then on the Control page for the Smart Plug, can select the "gear" icon in the upper right hand corner to get to Settings.
About Available Settings:
A fairly standard Settings page for the Smart Plug will look like this:
Smart Plug Info will take you to the Info page (covered next)
On -or- Off is a toggle to turn the Smart Plug on or off from the Settings page. Usually easier to access via the Home screen (if "Control from Home Page" enabled) or from the Smart Plug Control page.
Control from Home Page allows the Smart Plug icon on the Home screen (to left of Smart Plug name) to toggle on/off via tapping the icon (instead of taking you to the Control page). A helpful shortcut if wanting to manage the on/off behavior simply from the Home screen.
Schedules will take you to the scheduling options/page. Can also access from the "Management" button at the bottom of the app as well as the Smart Plug Control page. Details about how to manage Schedules can be found here.

Google Home Integration - That's how you sync the Emporia Smart Plug to Google Home:
1.) Ensure you have Google Home downloaded as the app and you have it setup
2.) Once that is ready, you can add a new device to the Google Home app. You'll want to tap on the "+" (plus) icon in the upper left corner of the Google Home app
3.) Select "Set up Device"
4.) Select "Works with Google" (rather than New Device which is for Google products only)
5.) On the next screen, we'll tap on the magnifying glass (Search Icon) in the header, top of page towards the right hand side
6.) Search for Emporia Energy
7.) Once we tap Emporia Energy it will bring us to a Login page where you can enter your Emporia account credentials
8.) Once we've linked our Emporia account, you should be able to see your Smart Plugs listed within the Google Home app
