Will this work outside of the US?

Explore the compatibility of our EV Charger with international systems.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Compatible with Only North American Systems

  • North American Systems (120V/240V): The charger works on split-phase power, commonly found in North American residential and light commercial setups, with two 120V lines and a 180-degree phase offset

Compatibility with Three-Phase Systems

  • 208V Line-to-Line Voltage: The charger can operate using two lines of a three-phase system, with a 120-degree phase offset, but this is not ideal and may reduce performance

  • 240V Line-to-Neutral Voltage: The charger is not compatible with systems where the line-to-neutral voltage is 240V, commonly found in some international setups

Future Developments

We are investigating the potential of developing a true single phase and three phase EV Charger however we have no near-term plans for active development of these products.

Important Considerations for Installation

For customers considering installing the EV Charger outside of North America, it is essential to verify the electrical system specifications. Using the charger in unsupported configurations can lead to operational issues and potential safety hazards. Always consult a qualified electrician to assess compatibility and ensure a safe installation.
