The Emporia Level 2 EV Charger delivers up to 40A with a NEMA 14-50 plug or 48A when hardwired to a 60A breaker. The charge rate is dynamic and fully controllable in single-amp increments between 6A (min) and 48A (max) for hardwire installations.

NEMA Whip Modifications – Modification of the EV charger wiring setup affects warranty coverage as follows:
Cutting the NEMA whip will void the warranty.
The NEMA whip may be removed for hardwiring, provided the installation meets the manufacturer's guidelines and specifications. No internal components should be altered during the process.
Please make sure port sealing and compliance with safety standards are maintained during hardwiring.
