We're rolling out a substantial improvement to our energy monitoring system with our most recent app update to include the new Circuit Merging feature. This feature enhances your ability to track energy usage by allowing you to combine measurements from multiple Current Transformers (50A CTs) into a single, virtual circuit total.
Circuit Merging
Circuit Merging is now available for the Emporia Energy Vue 3, Vue 2, and Vue 1 devices. This feature allows you to:
Combine two or more branch circuit measurements from a single Vue device
Create an aggregated total of usage from all merged circuits
Improve accuracy for multi-pole breakers without relying on multipliers
Simplify monitoring of related circuits or appliance groups

Device Grouping - Future Release
While Circuit Merging combines measurements from sensors on a single device, we understand that many users are also interested in combining measurements across different devices.
Please note that Device Grouping is different from our existing Nesting feature and from the new Circuit Merging capability. We're definitely aware of the demand for the Device Grouping feature. Our team is dedicated to its development, and we'll share updates as soon as we have a clearer timeline.
We're committed to continually improving our platform to meet your energy monitoring needs. If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding these features, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support team.
