The Emporia Energy EV Charger is designed to continually evolve through regular firmware updates. These updates not only enhance the reliability of your charger but also introduce new features to improve your overall charging experience.
Automatic Firmware Updates
Firmware updates for the EV Charger occur automatically via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. The EV Charger will check the Emporia cloud at least once per day to ensure it has the latest firmware. When a new firmware version is available, your charger will download and install it automatically.
Checking Your Firmware Version
If you wish to verify the current firmware version of your EV Charger, follow these steps:
Open the Menu (☰).
Select Manage Devices under Settings.
Choose your EV Charger from the list of available devices.
Select Device Info at the top. The firmware version will be displayed below the Save button towards the bottom of the screen.
