All EV Chargers with Load Management need to be onboarded with the Emporia app; this includes previously operating EV Chargers that have since been upgraded to Load Management. Load Management EV Chargers have separate settings and firmware on-device which requires this onboarding process (both new and formerly operating chargers).

To onboard your EV Charger with Load Management go to Menu >> Manage Devices >> Add a Device and select the product EV Charger with Load Management:

After that, just follow the prompts to finish the onboarding process.
