Question: Is a Multiplier setting required for the Vue: Gen 3 Home Energy Monitor in 240V Systems?

Answer: No, the implementation of a voltage multiplier setting is not required for the Vue: Gen 3 home energy monitor when used in 240V single-phase or three-phase electrical systems. Unlike the previous Vue: Gen 1 model that had an assumed 120V, the Vue: Gen 3 is equipped with the capability to directly measure voltage levels. This advanced feature ensures that the device accurately gathers and analyzes electrical data, automatically recognizing systems operating at 240V. Consequently, users can trust the Vue: Gen 3 to provide precise and comprehensive monitoring without the need for manual adjustments or configurations for voltage measurements.

Note: Vue: Gen 1 devices still require a 2.0 multiplier for 240V systems. It has an assumed voltage of 120V (not measured).
