Released May 6, 2026
This update introduces Solar Window — a new way to make Excess Solar work alongside Smart Saver schedules — plus more flexibility for arranging your Home Screen and a smoother onboarding experience for Pro Charger bundle customers.
Solar Window
Solar Window is a new Excess Solar setting that tells your enrolled devices, "during these hours, only charge or turn on from solar — never from the grid." It's designed for customers who have both Excess Solar and Smart Saver enabled and want their EV charger to wait for the sun before pulling power.
What's new:
Default sunrise-to-sunset window — Calculated automatically from your monitor's location and time zone. Adjusts with the seasons, no manual updates needed.
Custom absolute window — Set an exact start and end time (for example, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) for more advanced setups.
Charge at Full Power override — Bypass the window when you need to charge right away. The override automatically resets when you unplug.
For the full walk-through, see Solar Window.
Reorder Your Home Screen Widgets
Your Home Screen widgets can now be rearranged so the cards you care about most are right at the top.
How to use it:
From the Home screen, tap the filter icon at the top of the screen to open Preferences
Tap Reorder in the top right of the Preferences screen
Drag any widget up or down to the position you want
Save your changes — your new arrangement will appear on the Home screen and stays put across app sessions and devices
Pin and Unpin Widgets from the Home Screen
If there's a widget you don't use, you can now remove it from the Home Screen so you only see the cards that are useful to you. You can also pin available widgets back to the Home screen at any time.
How to use it:
From the Home screen, tap the filter icon at the top of the screen to open Preferences
To unpin a widget, find it under Pinned to Home and tap the pin icon next to it — the widget will move down to Available Widgets and disappear from the Home screen
To pin a widget back, find it under Available Widgets and tap the pin icon next to it — the widget will move up to Pinned to Home and reappear on the Home screen
Unpinning doesn't delete the widget or the underlying data — you can pin it back at any time from the Preferences screen.
