Current Limitations

Here are some of the existing limitations with the current functionality provided by Load Management:

  1. One monitor (Gen 2) with one EV Charger. As of right now we can't control multiple EV Chargers from a single monitor, nor can we control a single EV Charger with multiple monitors. These are features we're exploring for a future release of this functionality.

  2. Vue: Gen 2 energy monitor only. Currently the Vue: Utility Connect and Vue: Gen 1 devices are not compatible with Load Management.

  3. Emporia Level 2 AC EV Charger only. We do not have Load Management integrations available with third party EV Chargers or breakers where you have other type of appliances.

  4. 6A minimum "Available Power" - Right now the Load Management functionality is limited to a 6A minimum available power setting, i.e. requires at least 6A of available capacity within the electrical panel. We're hoping to add an update to this feature in the future that will allow the functionality to drop down to 0A (no charge).
