Allocated Charging Amps and Offline Behavior

This setting serves as the default limit when devices lose connectivity.

When connectivity issues occur:

  • EV Charger Offline: Reverts to the pre-set "Allocated Charging Amps" limit configured during setup

  • Vue Energy Monitor Offline: Without real-time usage data, the EV Charger defaults to the "Allocated Charging Amps" setting

  • Cloud Service Unavailable: Both devices operate in offline mode, with the EV Charger using the "Allocated Charging Amps" setting

PowerSmart automatically resumes dynamic control once connectivity is restored.
