As per NEC regulations: this method of automatically controlling EV Charger load is safe and recommended in order to prevent expensive electrical system upgrades. Both the EV Charger and Vue: Gen 2 / Vue: Gen 3 are UL-certified to be as safe as possible to provide this functionality.
