How does it work?

The Utility Connect is designed to be a small device plugged into a regular house outlet. It'll establish a communications link with your utility provided smart meter, and broadcast total system usage into the Emporia cloud where you can then access that data from anywhere in the world with the Emporia Energy app. This device also provides the total system measurements required for our automated Energy Management functionality.
