Solar Generation can be monitored very similarly to some of our other circuits. We have built a supplemental installation guide specifically for monitoring solar installations with a Gen 2 device. Your first step should be to take a look here:

Common questions about solar monitoring:
1.) Does the solar 50A CT have to be reversed? Yes - compared to the default installation of the 50A CT, you will want the "K" on the bottom of any solar circuit CT's pointing towards the solar inverter, "L" in towards system breakers. This is because the direction of power supply is reversed.
2.) Can the CT measure the DC side of the solar inverter? No - CT's will only work on AC circuit lines.
